$250,000.00 Philanthropic

Give-Back Program Provided by SER

Available to Philanthropic Organizations

The Special Event Resource & Design Group, Inc., (SER) announced the creation of a $250,000.00 give-back program, to be shared among charities and charitable foundations who conduct fundraising events in the Palm Beach area. The fund will support future events and assist with critical fundraising event objectives for local non-for-profit organizations.

“It is clear that not-for-profit organizations are in dire need of support in light of the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic presents. As a co-producer of many local galas and events, it is our obligation to support this sector in any way we can. That is the driving factor behind doubling the program.” explained Andrew Farah, CEO.

Positive Community Impact

Many of SER’s not-for-profit clients already benefit from the company’s philanthropic support fund, yet SER has identified countless additional organizations that are struggling to meet their clients’ needs. “A multitude of organizations saw event fundraising capabilities come to an abrupt halt in response to the guidelines of social distancing. These organizations define the term ‘community’; therefore, they are the ones in critical need of support, today,” Farah explained. “The Give-Back Program provides for substantial savings as these organizations look to the future. While budgets will be cut, the quality and impact of upcoming events do not need to be compromised.”

“This will help tremendously,” Said Regan Tarpey, Executive Director of Events and Communications at Jupiter Medical Center Foundation. “While our donor base has remained vigilant, every opportunity to serve our community is paramount. This provides much needed hope for philanthropy.” Jupiter Medical Center Foundation was one of numerous organizations forced to cancel their annual Gala, scheduled at The Breakers this April.

The $250,000.00 Give-Back Program, SER’s commitment to the philanthropic community, is available to not-for-profit organizations intending on producing on-premise and/or ‘virtual’ events through SER, as restrictions are lifted and time allows.

SER is now offering appointments (abiding by social distancing guidelines) to continue to look forward to next season. Call for more information call or e-mail andrew@specialeventresource.com
